We are pleased to offer this rare and authentically worn halter of the late Breeders Cup Sprint Champion Artax, son of our late retiree Old Friend Marquetry. The halter was donated to Old Friends to support our deserving retired Thoroughbred athletes. The halter is in well loved condition and shows the usual signs of wear from life on the farm. The name Artax is in capital letters and clearly visible despite some wear. All proceeds from the halter-paloozaauction will go to Old Friends, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization that cares for more than 150 retired racehorses.
