Rare Bretby Impasto Slipware & Basket Weave Flagon.Mould No.987.Top half decorated with glazed impasto roses to one side and the lower half decorated with unglazed basket weave.See impressed marks in image 2.Hight-14.5cms and 9cms across the base. Condition-No cracks,chips or restoration.On top of the rim is a glaze scuff.Tiny glaze scratches on the glaze on the reverse.
