TOWNS END ART Hello, and welcome to another auction featuring works of art by Leslie Ann Rothhaar of TOWNS END ART . For your consideration is a Breyer Holstein calf repainted to a British White calf. She would go great with the resin Heifer by Carol Herden offered in my other auction. Both would go with live show performance set-ups and work well with traditional size Breyer, Peter Stone or other traditional size Artist resin models. She's patterned after a British White; an ancient breed from England that is used for both meat and dairy production. Breeders especially like their black pigmented skin that guards against sunburning. Being an easy keeper and breeder with a docile temperment British Whites are a popular choice among cattle breeders. She's all set for some live or photo show experiences. Her head has been turned and some re-sculpting done to her neck as well as an added udder and gender. Sh e's packed with lots of detail and subtle shading as well as great expression, and would be a great addition to your show string or collection.
