From the Scallyway Certificate of Authenticity: Scallywag, a handsome tobiano pinto gelding, is the Connoisseur model featured in the March/April 2007 issue of Just About Horses magazine. Designed by Breyer's senior decorating artist, Karen Williams and technical consultant, Kim Jipson, Scallywag is offered in a limited-edition run of 350 pieces, each individually numbered on one hoof. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity assuring that you have purchased an original Breyer Connoisseur model. Breyer's Connoisseur Series Line is distributed exclusively through Just About Horses magazine and is dedicated to limited-edition collectibles that represent the pinnacle of Breyer's imagination, artistry and craftsmanship.

The model was removed from its original packaging only for the purposes of inspection and to photograph it. It has been repackaged as it came from Breyer but I have added some additional packaging material because I don't like the way it was rattling around in its box.
