The pictures do not give their mitallic "mother of pearl" color justice. Their horns are in MINT condition along with the reat of their body. If you are a Unicorn lover this is a must have for your collection. Retired from BREYER January 1, 2007 :(

Their story and more information are below. Also please be sure to read my information.

description: Long ago in the distant lands of Tir Nan Og, all of the mystical creatures eagerly awaited their introduction to the unicorn Princess Alida's firstborn foal, Elidor. One day, they were summoned to the enchanted unicorn glade ââ,¬âeoe to meet the young Prince Elidor! "My son will carry on my work one day," said the Princess. "He will be a symbol of purity and a protector of truth." Elidor was just like his mother with gold and rose-colored braids in his mane and tail, and shades of silvery blue across his legs, hooves and eyes.

Long ago in the distant land of Tir Nan Og, Alida, a young unicorn princess, ruled a magical kingdom. The mystical creatures that lived t were all very special, but none as beautiful as the young princess. So beautiful was she that the other creatures were in awe of her. This saddened Alida, because even though she was a princess, she liked to play and have fun too. Then word spread that Alida was going to have a foal. Everyone ââ,¬âeoe from the King of the Faeries to the woodland nymphs ââ,¬âeoe eagerly awaited the new unicorn. Finally, Princess Alida sent word that all were welcome to the enchanted glade to meet her son, Prince Elidor. The creatures quietly filed past the soft mossy bed w Alida stood over her new unicorn foal. The young prince looked like his mother with gold and rose braids in his mane and tail, and shades of silvery blue across his legs. /"Elidor will carry on my work one day,/" Princess Alida told them. /"He will be a symbol of purity and a protector of truth./" The kingdom rejoiced and the creatures watched as the young Prince Elidor stood on his wobbly legs for the first time and promptly fell down laughing. As his curiosity and personality charmed everyone in the glade, Princess Alida was happy knowing that her precious son would have the love of the kingdom and time to play before assuming his duties a young Prince.
