This is the Breyer horse #1307 BARBARO. This is a special run for 2006. Barbaro is a beautiful red bay with black mane and tail done in the Cigar mold. Barbaro won the 2006 Kentucky Derby and then broke his right hind leg during the Preakness Stakes. Breyer Animal Creations has created the Barbaro model horse and is donating ten dollars from the sale of every Barbaro model to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine's New Bolton Center w Barbaro is being treated. The Barbaro model will include a certificate of authenticity signed by trainer Michael Matz, jockey Edgar Prado, and Reeves president Anthony Fleischmann as well as Barbaro's name stamped on the belly in gold ink. This will also be packaged in a customized, four-color Breyer box picturing highlights of Barbaro's career. This is a traditional size model that is new in the box and has never been removed from the backing. The model in the picture is the model that you will receive. This is from a non-smoking home.
