Now, because we still have bills to pay, we are offering the following: Shire Series Run 1982-1983 for Montgomery Ward Semigloss dapple gray; darker points, bald face, white stockings, pink/gray on ears and muzzle. She is a wonderful heavy model with tons of character. She does have the dappling on the face and neck with the pink ears and nose, so she is the model produced for Montgomery Ward in 1982-1983. The Shire molds are heavier than other molds due to the feathers on their feet and legs being solid plastic. If you are a vintage model collector, or would like to start you vintage line, this model may be the one to help you. As with most of the older vintage Breyer model horses, t is something special about the feel to this one. Her white feathers on her feet are very white and shiny, and when I attempted to give her a soft bath with light dish soap, her color came off very easily. So I stopped.
