Up for auction is a beautiful Double Nine Patch quilt top also called the Dutch Nine Patch in some beautiful vintage fabrics. This top came from the same estate as the eight point star quilt top that I also have listed. Both have some beautiful work in them. The pictures do not do this top justice - it looks much better in person. T are thirty blocks of nine patch blocks and within each, the center block is another nine patch block itself. The blocks are surrounded by a solid turkey red fabric and each intersecting block is yet another nine patch block! The top is in near excellent condition. The only issue is a stain which you can see in the picture of the black and white floral block. The stain measures approximately 1-1/2 inches by 2 inches. On this top the individual blocks are sewn by hand and then pieced together by machine. Like the other quilt top the stitching is extremely well done. This top measures 69 inches by 73 inches and has NOT been cleaned, tfore has a very light musty odor.

I will disclose whether I have cleaned the item or not. **All of my listings for items that are fabric have been checked for stains, tears, wear, etc. keeping in mind that most of these pieces are old.
