Britains Ltd. Staff Car with General and Driver #1448 Staff car and hollowcast men are in EXCELLENT condition with a small scratch on the general’s chin (see photo). All parts move freely. It should be noted that t is paint loss beneath w the figures sit, but that is because they used to be afixed to the car. This set was purchased new in the 1940s. NO REPAINTING OR REPAIR. The set are in such great condition because it has been in a box for the past fifty years. NO BOX. This is a staff car in glossy olive drab with a silver grill and headlights on the front. The steering wheel and windshield are also painted silver. The wheels have light gray painted “tires” on them. Also included is the driver and general piece, glossy painted and wearing their olive drab uniforms and caps with gold buttons down their fronts. Their faces are painted in a flesh tone with black dot eyes, red dot lips and pink dot cheeks, while a bit of brown hair is visible at the back of their heads. Both men wear brown leather gloves. The general also has a red band on his cap and green and yellow plaid pants. William Britain , W.
