English Bayonet Original No. 7 Mk 1/L British Enfield rifle bayonet. 7 7/8" blued blade, 12 1/4" overall. In original leather sheath. Marked on ricasso: No 7 Mk 1/L. Bayonet was made in the UK to go on the Enfield #4 rifle and the Sten Mk 5 gun. To mount on the rifle the spring loaded latch on top is pushed forward and pommel swivels 180 degrees and locks. Bayonet and sheath are in very good condition. Original finish. No pitting or alterations. Hard to find bayonet and rare in this fine condition.
