This auction is for the WWII British Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Fighting Knife, made very famous during that war through its issue to British and US commando units including the SAS, OSS and Marine Raiders. This knife has been used and almost all black paint is gone from the handle which shows nice even patina. Cross guard is marked ENGLAND on the handle side. Handle itself is marked 3 on the upper part. Blade is about 6.75" long, has not been sharpened (except by factory) and remains about 65% of the black finish. Leather scabbard remains most of the black paint and the metal tip has about 97% of black finish remaining. T is no rust on the knife. I think it is a third pattern design. This is an authentic WW2 period item. Please ask all questions before you place a bid. A negative feedback will be left for non paying bidders. Buyer is responsible for the actual S&H charge. Look at my other auction items. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Good luck!
