A 6 1/4" plate in "British Lakes" series by Charles and James Mason & Co. C.1840. The central scene shows a man on horseback with two dogs. A woman with him stands holding a basket and pointing to two sailboats on the lake. A very pretty plate. There are two tiny flakes on the back edge, not visible from the front and some crazing to the glaze. No chips, cracks, hairlines or surface wear.
