British First World War Medal group consisting of 1914-15 Star named to 1539 1. A.M. G. Swanston. R.F.C. and silver British War Medal and Victory Medal both named to 1539 Sgt. G. T. Swanston. R.F.C. Scarce to see all three medals named to the Royal Flying Corps. The Medal Index Card is including, states that Swanston arrived in France on July 24, 1915. War and Victory Medals named to the RFC are scarce as the RFC became the Royal Air Force on April 1, 1918 and most WW1 flying medals are named to the RAF. Well worthy of further research. The medal are in very fine condition, properly named with correct ribbons, see pictures. Buyer pays shipping.
