Measures 11 ¾" long with a 7" blade. Has a 1 ½" SAS brass winged dagger emblem affixed to the guard with the motto: "Who Dares Wins" on a banner under the wings and crossing the blade. Under guard is stamped with a "chicken foot" and "1983" on one side and "Sheffield, England" on the other. Blade has its original deep bluing in place. Ribbed 4 ¾" metal handle with brass knob like cap. Comes with original dark brown leather sheath for attaching to belt or boot. Brass cap attached to end of the sheath. Black paint is somewhat worn on the cap. Sheath is soft and supple with no tears or detracting marks. This is NOT a recent reproduction but the real deal worn and used by a British Special Forces soldier back during the Falklands campaign. Kept in excellent condition through the years and the blade has never been sharpened. Still has the factory bluing and no scratches, chips or scrapes on the blade. This is a 5 day only auction ! so bid accordingly. All sales are final so look closely at the pictures
