This scope was used on a very limited number of trial/prototype sniper rifles. It is found on page 135 of book "The British Sniper" by Ian Skinnerton. This scope has three lines of stamping; The top stamped line shows; TELSTG.No53MKI. The center stamped line shows; the British' broad forces arrow, then OS.1075GA. The bottom stamped line shows; WRP (or WAP?) inside a diamond then 1663. The book implies that the British ordered two shipments of 15 scopes which were mounted to their rifles. The first group of 15 had cross hairs that were too thick. I am not sure which batch this one is from. These scopes were mounted to the #4 rifle. If you want ot make an example of a British prototype sniper rifle, 's your chance. Or if you just want a piece of history. The paint has some scratches. The optic is reasonably clear with a few black dots and scratches. See photos. Will ship priority mail for $ 7.00.
