In 1938 the War office ordered the production of new helmet bodies which used the same lining,chin strap,etc. that had been retrofitted to the MkI steel helmet. The MkII was used by the British armed forces for a number of years,with a succesion of different linings. A number of colour schemes were used. Widely exported to neutral countries such as Ireland and Turkey. As you can see we are selling only shell with strap. Inside near the strap holder there is "J.S.S I " marking. For more details please see the pictures.
