20944 – Private JohnHensman, Royal Warwickshire Regiment British War Medal Victory Medal All officially impressed. Background John Hensman was born in Newton near Rugby and joined the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in 1915 before being posted to the 10 th Battalion later that yea His service history (copies included) show that he was reported missing in 1918 (I would estimate during the German spring offensive) and is then listed as a repatriated prisoner of war a few days after the armistice in November 1918. There are several copies of the service history included here (as well as the medal index card), and it would be fascinating to find out more about the man himself! Medals are all in very good condition. Reason for sale: I’m a Warwickshire Regiment collector and these are from my own collection. I’m thinning out some of my items and concentrating on one aspect of the Warwick’s history Guarantee: I offer a full return guarantee, if you’re not happy with any aspect of the sale you can return the medals to me within 7 days and I will offer a no quibble refund.
