The British denim battledress uniform was a favorite of British commandos from WW2 thru the late 50s. It was also used by French Foreign Legionnaires in Indochina and in the Suez in 1956. This pair of British WW2 1950s OD Denim Battledress Pants are in mint, unissued, unever worn condition, with no rips, holes, tears, or staining. They are complete with all of the original buttons and feature a large map sized button pocket on the left thigh, and a pleated button closure field dressing pocket on the right hip. They are a size Large, 35-36 waist x 32 length, dated 1954, and are broad arrow marked on the original tag. This is the first pair of British 1950s OD Denim Battledress pants we have ever been able to offer for sale. We have shown a photo of a French sapper at Suez in 1956, wearing the British battledress jacket.
