WWII British Fiber-RimParatrooper/Para Glider Combat Helmet. This is without question, The Best replica British Paratrooper, Glider Troops Helmet you can get anyw All carefully aged with a worn/distressed finish. This is a Textbook example of a British fiber-rim paratrooper helmet made using the very highest quality parts and construction. Helmet is made and looks exactly like an original in every detail. The helmet shell has a worn rough finish applied that has been painted a British dark olive green base on the outside and textured matching color inside of the shell just like the originals . A correct style fiber rim on the outside base of helmet's rim with no rim lip on the inside of the shell, just like the originals made during WWII. The Paratrooper helmet liner is heat pressed imprinted with BMB 1943 and size 7 1/2 of the correct style WWII stamping is an exact copy of the original stamping used on the helmets issued during the war. Liner made of quality real leather in a Large size (US size 7-1/2 ) Crown pad is made exactly like an original with oil cloth black cover stamped with the War Department WD Broad Arrow 43 ' in white ink The sewn leather chinstraps and friction brass ring buckles look like war worn originals but are very high quality replicas carefully aged and has 4 aged brass helmet screws and bolts. Black course foam rubber padding and a real alloy metal support band. I'm selling this helmet as a high quality replica combat helmet as used by the British Airborne Forces of WW2. This helmet would look great in your collection/display or could be used for reenactments. Look at the pictures, they give a better description than I can. Note to bidders: This is my last helmet I am making haveing the sewn chinstraps, I will not be making any more of the sewn style chin straps. If you want a early sewn style set of chin straps that were sewn (not riveted), this is the last helmet I am offering to have them. Auction does not include stick-grenade display stand.
