WWII British Wolseley Pith Helmet Up for bid is a authentic WWII Wolseley British Pith Helmet. This item is in good condition with norma wear after 67 years. Grading is subjective but I would grade the item as (VG) very good. The Helmet size is 6-7/8. The helmet was made by Helmets Ltd. of Wheathampstead England. 1940 T is and inscription hand written in ink on the inside headband. The inscription reads "Singapore Malay Straits Settlement". Below that is the hand written name "TONY". Singapore was a large British Naval Base in Malaysia that fell to Japan forces in 1942. Insurance on this item is optional. For international shipping I will have to get a quote. Thank you for looking.
