Bronze 21" Advertising Letter "A" 23 lbs. Cato Institute Architectural Salvage This heavy solid bronze letter was found in a storage locker along with a lot of other architectural items. I found a set of blueprints from the 2010-12 Washington DC Cato Institute remodeling/expansion with this letter. The font of the letter looks very much like the Cato Institute font so I'm pretty sure it was salvaged from their building during the expansion. It has threaded mounts on the rear (see photos). Piece dates to the mid 1970s. Great looking piece with great patina! Measures 21 1/2" tall x 21 1/2" wide x about 1/2" thick. Shipping expense will include insurance.
