Ballantyne Bell 1987 Annual - Dorothy in the Land of Oz This item is from the estate of my 93-year-old mother-in-law, Phyllis Allen, who passed away in June of 2006. I have a complete set of same number (#164) ANNUAL (no specials) Ballantyne bells. Since I have not found a serious buyer for the complete set, I have decided to sell these bells individually. Ballantyne Bells are handmade by the "Lost Wax Process" and cast in silicon bronze. They are limited editions of subperb craftsmanship. So it is possible to have a bell that is signed, for example, #150/300 when in reality only 250 bells were actually made. I have a list of the numbers of bells that were actually made each year and will provide that number in the listing read more
