Item DescriptionPlease scroll down for more pictures. This limited edition bronze sculpture of an eagle with his prey was done by Mike Hollern. The piece is titled "The Victor" and stands almost 12 1/2 inches high on a finished tree trunk. It is close to 12 inches wide. The eagle itself is about 7 1/2 inches long by 5 inches high. There is no damage to this piece. However, there are a few scratches on the title as shown in the photos. Mike Hollern, a native of Montana, has made a living creating art works for over 30 years. His website, Big Sky Country, is at Searching the Web, I have found his sculptures for sale at $1000 to $12,000. Samples of Mike Hollern’s works dot Montana as well as the Pacific Northwest and include several public art projects. One of Mike Hollern's larger bronze works is located at the Grizzly Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana. He has also created several pieces utilizing ferro-cement as a medium, most notably “Cattin’ Around," a large whimsical version of an alley cat located in Missoula, Montana. It is very difficult to photograph bronze so I have included many photographs. If you have any questions, please ask.
