Emmett Kelly - American circus performer, who created the memorable clown figure "Weary Willie," based on the hobos of the Depression era. Wonderful depiction of this down on his luck hobo - swollen red nose, painted white lips, taped hat, tie with clothespin, ragged clothes, over sized shoes...playing with his best friend - a puppy dog. Superbly set on a black oval marble base. Marvelous addition to your existing clown collection.
