This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base Dimensional Data The statue, overall, is 435 mm high, to top of his right hand, around 160 mm wide & weighs 2,6 kgs The bespoke black marble base is 120 mm diameter at its widest x 90 mm high. General A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. A reproduction of the the original, c1580 version by Giambologna ( 1529 - 1608 ) a famous Italian ( in all but birth ) Artist & sculptor. A young Mercury, with arm aloft, prepares to take flight assisted by the blowing wind from Zephyr.
