THIS BRONZE/IVORY HAS IT ALL. I bought it at the Bustamonte Show in Pasadena, Ca. While walking the floor of the show, I counted the number of Bronze/Ivory pieces for sale amongst all the dealers; there were 4 total!
THIS PIECE HAS SO MUCH EYE APPEAL THAT I'VE DISPLAYED IT IN MY HOME AND IT STOPS EVERYONE. Circa: 1910, with detailed hand carved ivory faces and hands is astonishingly life like. Both figurines stand atop a raised step base. THE FIGURINES HARLEQUIN AND COLUMBINE , AS IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH, ALSO COMBINES SEVERAL CARVED "COMEDY AND TRAGEDY" MASKS IN THE WELL OF THE PEN HOLDER. THE INK WELL IS ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE AS IT IS SHAPED EXACTLY TO THE IRREGULAR SHAPE OF THE WELL. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER OF THIS FORM. THERE MAY HAVE BEEN MORE, BUT WHO KNOWS IF ANY EVEN REMAIN INTACT. THIS ONE IS A TREASURE. CONDITION: THE SCREWS AND NUTS THAT HOLD "HARLEQUIN AND COLUMBINE" TO THE BASE ARE ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE. ALL OF COLUMBINE'S FINGERS ARE INTACT , AS IS THE INSTRUMENT. I REALLY CAN'T SAY ENOUGH FOR THIS PIECE OF FANTASTIC ART. TAKE A LOOK AT MY PHOTOS FOR DETAIL . ENJOY! Please take a look at my business policies for a word about condition. DIMENSIONS: IT'S A HEAVY WORK OF ART ( APPROX. 5 LBS. ) , AND NICE SIZED AT OVER 7" TALL BY OVER 10" WIDE BY ABOUT 4.5" DEEP. Professional and Insulated Packaging is only $20.00 plus the actual cost of UPS shipping to your zip code. See Below for Returns and Payment Information. Thanks...
