Vintage Bronze Lion and Serpent Barbedienne Barye Sculpture Statue!

This is absolutely gorgeous and a must HAVE piece of art for your bronze collection!

Very nice Vintage Bronze Statue of a Lion attacking Serpent / Snake. Signed by maker Antoine Louis Barye: "F. Barbedienne Fondeur (Paris)" right next to this signature t is s stamp "26" and up front "BARYE". Bottom Signed: "J 12200 (and unknown symbol)" (see pictures), t is also a cross and number "6" incised. Massive size: 11" by 14" Weight: 22.4 pounds This sculpture has a very great quality and execution of detail. Beautiful bronze patina. This statue does not have a marble or wooden base, not sure if it ever did.
