Bronze Tiffany Studios Style Three Lily Favrile Lamp Description: Solid bronze three-lily lamp made in the style of models popularized by Tiffany Studios a century ago. The lamp has a rich chocolate brown patina, a Tiffany style on/off turn knob on the base, and a rayon covered cord. The gold favrile shades have excellent iridescence with blue, pink, and lavender highlights and a subtle optic ribbing effect. Fitted with porcelain candelabra sockets. Both the lamp base and the shades are unsigned. Most likely this lamp was produced in the 1980s by Buffalo Studios. Very hard to find contemporary lamps of this quality today. Measurements: Lamp measures 12 inches in overall height. The favrile shades measure between 4.5 and 5 inches in height with 3 inch openings. One shade is slightly smaller than the other two, but they match as a set in terms of color and this slight height difference is not apparent when all of the shades are installed. Attests to their handmade nature. Condition: Overall excellent condition. The patina on the base is intact, slight patina wear at the on/off knob, and scratches on ball feet of base. The shades are in excellent condition with minor fitter chips that disappear when they are installed. Lamp will be carefully packaged and shipped via priority mail.
