The Ford Falcon started out in 1960 as an economy car, designed to compete with the Volkswagen Bug. But in 1963 Ford finally offered convertibles and then hardtops, and the new "Sprint" model were introduced. Halfway through the model year (February 1963), the Fairlane's 164 hp "Challenger" 260 CID (4.3 L) V8 engine was offered for the first time. The Falcon was climbing in trim level from its budget beginnings, as Ford attempted to wring more profit from the line. I am selling the Brooklin model of this classic 60's car.I purchased it new when released, and it has been out of the box only for careful display in a closed glass cabinet.I pack all models in bubble wrap within a well padded box, and ship US Priority Mail.
