More goodies from a New York estate, take a look at this offering!! FABULOUSLY DETAILED NEW YORK BROOKLYN BRIDGE HANDLE/SUBWAY BOWL PAYE & BAKER MADE STERLING SOUVENIR SPOON! This auction is for a great sterling souvenir spoon made by Paye & Baker and honoring New York City. This spoon is unbelieveably detailed. The two dimensional flat back and handle are a wonderful renderings of the Brooklyn Bridge. The bowl is even better -- it is an Op Art type etching of a New York subway track as if you were standing on the track looking down the line into a tunnel -- really cool!!!! The handle has the whole bridge and you can even see the apartments and other buildings on the ground below the bridge. The bridge's rigging is very well done. The back is plain with the Paye & Baker and sterling stamped on it. The sterling souvenir spoon measures about 4 inches long, so it's a demitasse size. It is in very good to excellent estate condition. The new owner will probably want to polish it a little more than I have. Don't miss out on this great collectible!
