BROUWER Vessel of Chinese melon shape, covered in bronze flame-painted glaze. (Exhibited in "American Art Pottery, 1875-1930," Delaware Art Museum, 1978, and illustrated in the accompanying catalog.) Incised whale bone and Brouwer. 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" (NOTES: "The Brouwer bronze luster vase was found at Brimfield in July of 1972, at the end of business on Saturday.
