Browder Fireman's/Firefighter Life Saving Trampoline/Fire Safety Net
USA
Circa 1950
Manufactured by the Atlas Life Saving Machine Co. of NYC. Used by firemen to "catch"people in burning buildings. Very nice detailing will make this a stellar decoration, features original "bulls-eye" lash on blanket. Great aluminum
machining and casting, great hard red rubber casting on handles.

Rare! From a Cleveland, Ohio firehouse. Cleveland had a total of 3 Browder Style Life Nets. One was destroyed, one is in a museum, and then there is this one. :)
Condition:
Very Good. Because this was an actual working Life Net that actually saved lives of many people, the bottom is darker from it being on the ground and it could use a cleaning. It is a nice solid piece.
