We have over 100 authentic used Japanese glass fishing floats in our ebay store: SEASHORE COLLECTIONS Glass Floats *click on ebay store icon (red door icon located by our ebay name)* BROWNISH AMBER Japanese Sea Glass Ball Fishing Floats I found this float myself on a recent float hunting trip to Japan in October 2009. This float measures approx. 3" diameter. It is a nice color brownish amber (see photos) mouth blown seamless glass ball.This float was used as a working Japanese fishing float. It is in good beachcombed condition with the normal wear and scuffing of working fishing floats that have spent their life at sea. It is made with heavy thick glass with impurities, inclusions and bubbles from the Japanese manufacturing technique. The integrity of this float is very sound. T are no cracks or chips on this float with the exception of the chipped seal button edge (see photos), which is the norm on these old floats that spent their life working at sea.
