Made in Staffordshire by Davenport around 1835, this chocolate brown transferware teapot is printed in a pattern called "Turkish Archer". There is wear to the tip of the spout and the handle as well as chips to the inside of the pot where the lid rests and two small chips on the lid. There is no restoration and there are no cracks. Appearance is excellent. The spout has a wonderful pattern of a turban and arrows and the border is filled with patterns resembling a turkish rug. Take a look at all four of the photos.
