You are bidding on a brand new Browning knife model 686 FDX 3. The I believe this knife was made by Tops. The FDX stands for Field Duty Extreme and if t is one thing this knife is, its extreme! This beast has a 1095 high carbon steel blade with black finish and a Rockwell Hardness of 58. The full tang construction along with "splitter blade" on the back side of the knife provide for one intimidating knife. The powerful handle scales are green linen Micarta and really add to the look of the knife. This knife also features a lanyard hole and comes with a very heavy duty black belt sheath. Blade Length (from tip to handle): 5 3/4" Actual cutting edge measures 6 1/4" Overall Length: 11 3/4" This knife is brand new and in the box, it has never been carried, used or sharpened.
