We believe in pricing our works realistically so that they can reach a wider public than the usual art gallery crowd. We know that our paintings will be appreciated for years to come, and that many of our earlier works have now risen in value far above the prices we still ask for new works, but as artists we prefer our works to have relevance to real people in the real world. WHAT WE DO: All our works are individually signed and dated. All are completely original and unique, hand painted in acrylic paint on canvas, varnished for protection, and are delivered complete on stretcher frames suitable to either hang straight on the wall, or to be framed in a more traditional frame of your choice. WHAT WE DON'T DO: We don't quote you a ridiculously high gallery price (currently exhibiting at £699!) & then list at £30 with no reserve. We price our work by the time it takes us to paint it. We charge £8 an hour (Approximately US$14). More than a milkmaid but a lot less than a plumber. If you can get it for less you're getting less. We don't ship you an unstretched canvas leaving you to pay for it to be put on a stretcher so you can hang it. All our work is ready to hang. We don't use cheap paints that will fade if you hang them in daylight. We use chromacryl, daler rowney & similar top brand high permanence paints. We don't print onto canvas & then paint over it. Nor do we use screen printing or airbrushing through templates. All our work is painted entirely by hand the old-fashioned way, from charcoaling an outline on the canvas to endless brushtrokes with little squirrelhair brushes. (Is charcoaling a real word?)
