Shaped like the north point on a compass, the Universal Emblem reflects the mission of the Boy Scouts of America® to provide direction and a sense of purpose to boys as they move from childhood into adulthood. The three points of the trefoil represent the three parts of the Scout Oath™, which emphasize duty to God, country, and the principles of Scouting®; service to others; and maintaining physical, mental, and moral strength.

This distinctive coin knife is the perfect tribute to all those who have ever been a part of the great tradition of the Boy Scouts of America. Detailed and durable, it features a trio of stainless steel blades that fold neatly into a sturdy coin handle. The obverse features the Boy Scouts of America Stylized Universal Emblem. The reverse features a rendering of an eagle in full flight and includes a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy and brushed with an antique finish, the coin handle is accented with rich enamel highlights.

I protect my coins in either a PVC or vinyl coin pouch, flip, zip bag and/or bubble wrap to protect them during storage and shipment. I am starting to make an effort to get a little more eco friendly, so I hope to only use recycled packaging in the future, to include newspaper or tissue paper. But rest assured, your coin(s) won't get scratched in transit from my mailbox. Coins that aren't packaged safely are a major pet peeve of mine and I won't skimp when it comes to that.
