This was an old beat up user i had laying around for a few years.I decided to do some experimenting and heavy cleaning on it and by golly,she came out half decent.I cut up some old dry elk horn for scales and did a lot of stabilizing on them.I think they sucked up about 6 tubes of super glue each.The bolsters and frame were trashed with dings scratches and pits.All that cleaned up well.The blade was near full,but dull as a butter knife and scratched.I was able to hand rub all that out (or about 98% of it)and polish it up real nice with a wicked razor edge.Excellent walk and talk with an acceptable small amount of side to side play in the locked position.I have to say ,the knife turned out better than i expected.Definately a great user if you don't mind the massive antler handles.It's an old used knife,but i was able to breathe new life in t and i feel pretty good about it,but please don't ask me to do this to your old beater.It's way too much work.Just throw it away and get cha another one.
