Very rare Buckeye Reverse Swirl vase in a Topaz (early name for vaseline)opalescent glass.Note the "blue" band along the outer edge of the ruffled top.This is a rare find. The pattern can be located for ID on page 66 of "Harry Northwood the Early Years 1881-1900" Heacock,Measel & Wiggins.The base has a polished pontil and the pattern continues to cover the entire base except for the inner pontil circle.
