* Up for sale is a tall round embossed quart milk bottle from the very small town of Bucklin, Kansas. This bottle is in very good condition overall, but it has a minor lip issue. T is a flat glancing 1/4" flake on the side of the lip, and it favors the back side. Also t is a small shallow "fish eye" on the heel roll, which closely lines up with the chip on the lip. So this bottle displays mint from the front, (see pictures). It has very light case wear on some of the lettering, but its not bad. The glass is nice and clean. It boldly reads in a circular slug plate, "BUCKLIN DAIRY / D.W. FETTER / BUCKLIN, KANS." On the reverse it reads within a triangle, "1 / MINN". Then below the symbol it reads, "Sealed / 1-11-14" and "Wash and Return" near the base. On the base it has a "7" / "S" / "24", with a crude Owens valve mark in the center. Bottle measures 9 1/2" tall, and is a nice piece of Ford County, Ks. history. **** Check or Money Order Accepted Only, $9.00 Shipping, *More if Overseas and to Canada*, Insurance Extra, Seven Day Return Privilege, and Payment Must be Received Within 7 Days of the Close of this Listing, **** and thanks for looking.
