Hello,I have a rare 1930 s BUDDY LEE ADVERTISING AD DOLL up for auction in very good condition. You are looking at a Rare Antique Original Authentic 1930s Buddy Lee Composition Advertising Doll from 1920 - 1948. Before they were discontinued in 1962, they were the second highest selling doll in the US (This is the Authentic Antique Original One Not a Reproduced New one that came out in 1997) .This Buddy Lee Doll is in very good condition, but not perfect. Notice his damage to his left foot. Considering his age and that it was a child's toy he is doing very well in my honest opinion. Buddy Lee (Lee Cano) was a mascot for Lee Jeans. The doll made 1920-1962, was a promotional item for the company. He is in very good original outfit, but missing his original hat and kerchief. This Buddy Lee Doll is the cowboy version, and there was also a Coca-Cola, and a RR worker, and a gas station attendant. He is composition (1920-1948) and his value varies greatly depending on condition, but in this state could fetch $350 - $595.00. Please remember to shop small and locally this New Year.
