Budweiser Archives Stein Series Complete Set - 4 Steins Stein 1 - Columbian Exposition - CS169 First in a series, 1992 issue date, Edition Quantity 150,000 - This Stein is #21482 The first in this handcrafted series of steins, this edition borrows from a painting in the Anheuser-Busch archives. The attractive illustration, depicting the U.S. toasting Christopher Columbus on the 400 th anniversary of his historic voyage, was part of Anheuser-Busch's exhibit at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago . The Detailed lid is pewter with a ceramic inlay. Special Features: Individually numbered, Certificate of Authenticity, Bottom Stamp, and Gift Box. Stein 2 - Ganymede - CS190 Second in a series, 1993 issue date, Edition Quantity 75,000 - This Stein is #12851 This stein depicts a popular turn-of-the-century advertising sign in which Ganymede is being carried aloft to Mt. Olympus , to serve Zeus. The eagle clasps a classic bottle of Budweiser, while Ganymede holds a decree stating Budweiser's superior quality.
