The attractive illustration, depicting the U.S. toasting Christopher Columbus on the 400 th anniversary of his historic voyage, was part of Anheuser-Busch's exhibit at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago . Stein 2 - Ganymede - CS190 Second in a series, 1993 issue date, Edition Quantity 75,000 - This Stein is #12851 This stein depicts a popular turn-of-the-century advertising sign in which Ganymede is being carried aloft to Mt. Olympus , to serve Zeus. The eagle clasps a classic bottle of Budweiser, while Ganymede holds a decree stating Budweiser's superior quality. Stein 3 - Budweiser's Greatest Triumph - CS222 Third in a series, 1994 issue date, Edition Quantity 75,000 - This Stein is #08843 This third edition in the series features dramatic turn-of-the-century advertising artwork, remarkably reproduced in full-color ceramic relief. The classic figure depicted in the illustration is symbolically proclaiming "Budweiser's Greatest Triumph." The stein's pewter lid includes a full-color ceramic relief inlay and an antique A&Eagle logo on the thumbrest.
