Carved Ancient Buffalo Bone "Bear Spirit" Pendant

this BEAUTIFUL, CARVED PENDENT IS VERY BONE WHITE !

Fine, hand carved, Old, Ancient Buffalo bone. This indonesian master artist is able to give a real and very individual face to all his pieces. I have bought many carvings of bone and fossil ivory (extinct mammoth) of great natural beauty and interesting to see, but none of them has captured the almost surreal impression that these carved pieces have. Each one is a small masterpiece.

Carved on one side with a maiden with flowing hair, hair ornaments of feathers and 2 small round disk in her hair. 2 3/4+" long (not including the bail) and 1 1/2" at widest point. The bail is sterling silver. Maybe you can complete her on a necklace of your own creation.
