You are bidding on a 1/35-scale U.S. Army M32B1 Sherman Tank Retriever. The M32 is built on a cast hull Sherman M4 Medium Tank. The M32 is loaded with detail; you will notice something different every time you view the model. Please look at the pictures. This is an early but classic look of WWII tank retriever. The model has been in a display case since its completion; the tank has never been played with or handled as a toy. None of the delicate parts on the model (machine guns, cables, tools, spare bogies, mortar and stand, tubes, the A frame and rigging lines or hand grabs) have been broken and re-glued. It has three rigging lines in back (in transport position); also, an MV lens was used for the light. The 50-caliber machine gun has been highlighted and weatd to emphasize the detail on the gun. The tank has been slightly weatd (engine exhaust and a mild dusting of the superstructure and bogies) to highlight the magnificent surface detail of the model, and to provide a more realistic representation of the prototype. I purposely left the weathering on the light side; too much spoils the model. The M32 is decaled with the Stars and numbers. I have had a fair collection of Shermans (more than 15) and this is the second to the last one that is left. I have sold 13 Sherman’s (1/35) and they all been received with praise. It is obvious that due to the unique nature of this vehicle, I had a difficult time in selling this one. If you are a collector of WWII armor in this scale, and you do not have the time or ability to build them to your standard of acceptability, then this model might be of interest. Please view my feedback that I have received concerning other models that I have sold. Thank you.PLEASE READ PAYMENT AND SHIPPING TERMS BELOW
