This model is built from Zvezda's excellent 1/48 Lavochkin La-5 kit. This is a newly completed model. I was very happy with how this one turned out. I went for a less weathered look on this one. I thought this one was interesting because it was flown by a Spanish pilot who flew for the Soviet Union in World War II. While many Russian pilots had slogans in Russian, I thought it was interesting to see one in Spanish. (Please note: after the decals were on and dry, someone pointed out that the Spanish is not grammatically correct. However, I am a modeler, not a linguist, so please take that into account.) This unusual model will look great in any model collection. Model will be carefully packed. I cannot guarantee against damage in transit. Buyer may need to be prepared to make minor repairs if damaged in shipping. No returns. Payment is due within three days of winning auction. If payment is not made within three days of winning I reserve the right to offer the model as a Second Chance option for the second highest bid. I will ship within three business days of payment. I am happy to report I can now provide shipping insurance at no charge for almost all buyers. All US locations will be insured through USPS or , and most foreign locations will be covered by .
