PACIFIC FRUIT EXPRESS No.7036 is Westerfield Kit #4902 (discontinued) for PFE class R-30-4 reefer from series 6601-7100 built in 1909 and completely built to ready to run. Model features are very well made Intermountian blackened all brass wheels, hand painted Air hoses, Carmer type coupler cut levers, wire grab irons, Tichy Archbar trucks, screw secured Kadee couplers, added concealed weight,underbody "K" brake detail, removable underframe/floor . I built the car so you can remove the underframe by removing 4 corner screws, just incase more weight is desired. Couplers have been set to NMRA standards for correct height and operation with adjusted uncoupling pins also. All details that came with the kit have been added to this model. Model is custom painted Floquil Oxide Red (Ends,roof and side fascia) Floquil Engine Black (underframe side sill, end sill and trucks) and Scale Coat Reefer Yellow (sides) and lettered in the "As delivered Pre Safety Appliance" scheme with a semi gloss out shop condition finish (no weathering). Instruction and history sheets will come with the model. This is a true RTR model that can go from the included foam padded storage/transport box straight to the track.
