TEXAS & NEW ORLEANS #62082 is Westerfield "The Alternative to Brass" Kit #5201 for T&NO (SP subsidairy) class S-40-4 stock car from series 61900-62099 built in 1914 and completely built to ready to run. Model features are Intermountain non-magnetic blackened all brass wheels, brass grab irons, hand painted Kadee air hoses, Carmer type coupler cut levers, Kadee Metal Sprung Andrews trucks, screw secured Kadee couplers, added concealed weight, full underbody K brake detail and screw secured removable underframe for adding an animal load.Couplers have been set to NMRA standards for correct height and operation. Uncoulping pins also adjusted. All details that came with the kit have been added to this model. Model is painted with ScaleCoat Box Car Red #2 and lettered in the "as delivered" scheme with a semi gloss out shop condition finish (no weathering). Instruction and history sheets will come with the model. This is a true problem free RTR model that can go from the included foam padded storage/transport box straight to the track. I will package this model to protect it. Since I spent so many hours in building it, you KNOW I will. Westerfield models are 100% correct HO scale models of thier prototype counterparts and are the most highly detail kits available with F&C a close second.
