THIS CUSTOM BUILD OF THE U.S.S. CONSTITUTION IS FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR WITH AN EYE FOR ACCURACY!

This built sailing ship is a TRUE MUSEUM QUALITY build made from the Mamoli kit and not the highly inaccurate builds commonly found on mass produced ships usually out of China. Please take a look at other built ships on eBay and on the internet, and you will see the obvious difference in craftsmanship! This ship took several years to build, and is a hand-made plank on frame CUSTOM BUILD made by a well-known MASTER CRAFTSMAN. The build is meant to be an ACCURATE IN-SCALE replica made from the careful study of the actual ship plans. The standing rigging and running rigging is accurate, as is the painting of the ship itself. The ship has over a thousand tiny individual copper plates on the hull, and the entire ship itself is built up plank by plank in the same pattern as the real ship.

"Mamoli's kit is perfectly accurate, using such fine woods as walnut, beechwood, tanganyka and mahogany. From her 32 burnished metal cannon and 20 carronades to the golden eagle on her stern, the model is magnificent. Metal gunports provide perfectly aligned openings. And, you get three thicknesses of rope for lifelike rigging. Advanced Level Mamoli Kit No. MV31"

I am a VERY PICKY collector and I am not happy with anything that is not a true museum quality build. I believe the pictures will speak for themselves. I know the price of this ship is not cheap, but to get a GENUINE Museum Quality Custom Build of this caliber would cost you (as it did me several years ago) at least $5,000.00 dollars. The model comes with the pictured custom wooden base. It does not come with the mirror display case unless you can pick up the case locally as well.

SHIPPING: I will have a professional packing company pack the ship and fully insure the ship as well. The ship is large, complex, DELICATE and heavy, so the shipping unfortunately is not cheap. If you live local or close enough to pick the ship up, that would be best. However, if not, I will do my best to ensure the packing company packs and ships the model as securely as possible. In the event there is shipping damage, I will refund your money once the shipping insurance claim is paid.
