Thanks.This knife for auction is a grand 1998 issue Solingen, Germany manufactured Bulldog Brand Anglo Saxon Whittler , 5 1/4" closed, with beautiful jigged Genuine Bone (cattle bone) scales and the great reverse frosted etched master Clip blade of an eagle in flight and banner reading "Under My Wings Everything Prospers". The master Spear blade is stamped on the front tang with the Bulldog Standing Dog and 1998 Hand Made, while the rear tang is stamped with Bulldog Brand Hammer Forged Solingen Germany.This 1998 Bulldog Stag Anglo Saxon Whittler was issued in a quantity of 50 pieces in 1998.The small Spear and Coping blades are both stamped with the Bulldog Standing Dog and 1998 Hand Made. This Bulldog Brand Stag Anglo Saxon Whittler has a pinned nickel silver Bar shield and nickel silver bolsters.
