Bulldog Stag Barlow Knife 1st Generation. S&D Cutlery Co. In the late Jim Parker's "Pocket Knife Trader's Price Guide", Volume 7, page22, you will find the history of the 1st Generation Bulldog knives as being from 1978-1987. This fine knife is tang stamped as follows: Master blade front has 2 fighting dogs, and back tang reads: S & D Cut. Co. Hammer Forged Solingen Germany. Small blade stamped: 2 dogs (front side) and 1985 English Steel on back. This is out of my personal collection I will call it 99% mint. Never carried, used, or sharpened.
